nethack-console software package provides dungeon crawl game - text-based interface, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nethack-console
nethack-console is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nethack-console package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nethack-console *
You will get with nethack-console package name, version, architecture and description in a table
